For your trial session, wear comfortable attire that allows freedom of movement. While you don't need to wear our uniform initially, it's beneficial to come prepared for the best experience:

• Opt for loose-fitting, flexible clothing like tracksuits or sportswear.

• Ensure you have well-fitted trainers or appropriate dance shoes.

• Don't forget to wear socks with your shoes for comfort.

• If you have long hair, bring a hair tie to keep it out of your face.

• Remember to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during class.

To ensure safety during classes, we request that dancers wear their hair up, keeping it away from the face and eyes. A simple ponytail is suitable for most classes, though bun, French plait, and plaited pigtails are also stylish options to consider.

At Studio 86, we maintain an open-door policy and our staff are readily available to speak with you during appropriate times. While we understand the desire to stay close by, especially during your child's first session, we've found that students often benefit most from their time without adults in the room. However, we're more than happy to provide honest feedback and offer opportunities for you to observe our classes in action. Please note that for safeguarding reasons and to ensure the best possible learning environment for our students, we have limited access for adults during sessions. Rest assured, we frequently offer open sessions, performance opportunities, and other chances for you to see us in action.

We align our schedule with the local school terms to maintain consistency in class durations and fee payments. However, we typically offer sessions during holidays as well.
