What do I do once we've completed the free trial?

Be sure to add us to your email contact list, you'll receive an email from studio86@live.co.uk when your trial has finished.

Once you have filled in our online form and completed the payment link, you are all signed up!

Please follow us on all social media and store our number in your phone so you will receive all our important updates and communications.

What should I wear for my trial session? Is uniform required?

Accepted Answer

For your trial session, wear comfortable attire that allows freedom of movement. While you don't need to wear our uniform initially, it's beneficial to come prepared for the best experience:
Opt for loose-fitting, flexible clothing like tracksuits or sportswear.
Ensure you have well-fitted trainers or appropriate dance shoes.
Don't forget to wear socks with your shoes for comfort.
If you have long hair, bring a hair tie to keep it out of your face.
Remember to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during class.

How should I style my hair for class?

Accepted Answer

To ensure safety during classes, we request that dancers wear their hair up, keeping it away from the face and eyes. A simple ponytail is suitable for most classes, though bun, French plait, and plaited pigtails are also stylish options to consider.

Can Adults come in and watch the session?

Accepted Answer

At Studio 86, we maintain an open-door policy and our staff are readily available to speak with you during appropriate times. While we understand the desire to stay close by, especially during your child's first session, we've found that students often benefit most from their time without adults in the room. However, we're more than happy to provide honest feedback and offer opportunities for you to observe our classes in action. Please note that for safeguarding reasons and to ensure the best possible learning environment for our students, we have limited access for adults during sessions. Rest assured, we frequently offer open sessions, performance opportunities, and other chances for you to see us in action.

Do you operate throughout the year?

Accepted Answer

We align our schedule with the local school terms to maintain consistency in class durations and fee payments. However, we typically offer sessions during holidays as well. Be sure to stay updated on our holiday schedules for any closures.
